Scott did a great job with his pictures. Thanks for your patience. :-)

Thanks for the privilege of taking a family portrait for you! Here are the proofs of your portraits. I have only done slight color correction, no fine-tuning like skin smoothing, blemish removal, cement dust on dark shirt removal, etc. I will do those types of things when you decide which ones to order.

I need to apologize for having so few good proofs for you to choose from. Remember that error message I kept getting on my camera? The first day of vacation, I removed my lens to discover that the mirror which allows me to focus through the viewfinder had completely unglued itself from its bracket and was trying to float around inside my camera. I ended up supergluing it back into place, and my pictures are back to being mostly clear again. So the majority of the pictures I took of your family are simply out of focus. If you'd like to get together for some better portraits, I would be glad to set up another time.

Even if you don't want to redo the family portraits, I did realize that we didn't get a good portrait of Scott. I had taken a couple of snapshots, but moved on to something else thinking that I'd come back to him, and then forgot. :-( So if nothing else, I'd like to get a good portrait for Scott.

There are all kinds of options available for portraits. Pretty much anything you can imagine, we can do such as sepia tone, black & white, desaturated, faded, burned edges, etc. Let me know if you might be interested in any of those special effects and I'll post samples of them for you.

Here are the proofs of your portraits. I have only done slight color correction, no fine-tuning like skin smoothing, blemish removal, stain on white shirt removal, ect. I will do those types of things when you decide which ones to order.

Gehman Proofs

Update: I'm going to complicate your life and give you a few more options. I know you'll just LOVE me for that, but I got a couple of new Photoshop actions that let me turn a color photo into various styles with just the push of a button.

Here is the Original again just so it is handy as you compare
Here's the regular black and white

And "Lovely and Etheral"

And "Make It Pop"

And finally "Midnight Sepia"

Please click on each image to enlarge. Use the image number under each proof to order. The final prints will be fine-tuned to ensure uniform lighting.
